Set‐Aside: NorthTide’s Contract covers Full & Open, Small Business (“SB”), and 8(a) set‐aside
In 2002, the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) promulgated Sea Power 21. It provides a framework to align, organize and integrate the U.S. Navy to meet the wide variety of challenges that lie ahead. The CNO called upon the Navy’s Systems Commands (SYSCOMs) and associated Warfare Centers (WCs or ‘Field Commands’), to find ways to become more efficient and effective. To meet Sea Power 21 objectives, and to increase efficiencies, these entities have aligned to provide seamless integrated support for twelve core Product Area Directorates.
In the Seaport Enhanced (SeaPort‐e) Multiple Award Contract (MAC), these entities have established a mechanism to work efficiently and effectively across the entire Navy Enterprise to acquire Engineering, Technical, and Programmatic Support Services. These Services span twenty‐two (22) Functional Areas, the twelve core Product Area Directorates, and cut across seven (7) geographic zones.
NorthTide Group, LLC (NorthTide) is a PRIME contract holder of the NAVSEA SeaPort‐e Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Multiple Award Contract (MAC) for a wide range of engineering, technical, and programmatic services and solutions for the Virtual SYSCOM (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, NAVSUP, SPAWAR, Strategic Systems Program (SSP), NAVFAC) as well as Commander, Naval Installations (CNI) and the US Marine Corps. SeaPort‐e furthers the Navy’s Seapower 21 objective to increase efficiency, and allows for tailoring services according to the needs of geographically‐dispersed organizations with significantly diverse product area
requirements and missions. NorthTide is capable of responding to Requirements/Task Order opportunities in all seven (7) geographic zones for solicitation and performance.
NorthTide and its subcontractor partners are proud to be part of the SeaPort-e Team. NorthTide employees are capable of providing the technical expertise and support in all seven of the SeaPort-e zones – and globally. This workforce represents a significant and stable national resource available to the Navy today and over the span of the SeaPort-e Contract.
